General: AgriSuits has developed a product to separate the manure and urine of a cow directly under the tail. With the CowSuit Adapter, a product is placed under the tail and on the anus and urethra of the cow. The anus and urethra are unlocked by two separate passageways into the adapter connected to a drainage bag with two compartments in which the manure and urine each individual is caught.
An important mechanism is the natural movement of the tail. The cow will always move up her tail during defecation allowing it the valves in the adapter opens. With the down of the tail are the adapters automatically closed.
The bag: The collection bag consists of two different compartments. There are 2 different nipples made to the bottom of the bag on the same height as the nippples of the udders.
The bag is emptied during the 2 or 3 x a day milking process.

Through a piping system is the manure and urine drained to a storage tank.

The bag is made of synthetic flexible rubber. The bag is reinforced in such a way, that the full weight of a cow on the bag this elastic enough to stretch. The volume of the manure and urine remains evenly distributed on the stretched form. By means of valves in both compartments can not flow back in the cow manure and urine, even at high pressure.
The bag has two methane exhaust valves that the accumulated methane gas emissions from excess pressure to escape in case of risk of explosion.

Urine and manure separation benefits: The pure urine and manure are obtained from the tanks further refined into useful valuable elements such as Phosphorus, Nitrogen, Urea etc. and the remaining part of both is converted into energy, respectively hydrogen and natural gas.

The leftover manure is an excellent Digestate harmless fertilizer the calorific value of the pure manure without urine is much higher than mixed and makes existing mono anaerobic digestion systems very cost effective.

The urine which normally is responsible for the nitrogen problems via ammonia is this way defused and is decomposed into profitable elements. This is a very major environmental issue resolved.

The manure in combination with urine is mainly responsible for the emission of the greenhouse gas methane and is in this way fully defused and influenced positively the environment by reducing the CO2 footprint.
